Nevermind, I found the little holes in the bottom of it and figured out it was an allen set screw. I was concentrating on the plastic plug in each side and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what size socket would turn what was inside that. It’s not a bolt in there, it’s a pin type thing. Unsure why there’s a cap at all.
Either way, if anyone cares, it’s started by the set screws from below. The seat is on an aluminum cleat that has 5 decent sized screws into the wall.
I’m going to make some ~1x1 square dowels that stick in under the seat bars to hold the thing up against the wall and see how that works out.
