Slide out?

Just received my new DX3. Slides will only work with engine running and parking brake applied. Is this normal? I assumed they would work with shore and generator power as well. I’m thinking something isn’t wired properly.

Accessory switch needs to be on
Fine on shore power or generator or inverter
Engine doesn’t need to be running

Jack’s only work key in but no accessory turned on

On our new DX3, the jacks will extend without the key in. The bedroom slide will also work without the key. LR and Galley slides need ignition on.

Always make sure you have some source of good power for the slides and jacks.
