Slide Switch Issues (POST HERE PLEASE) Dynamax ONLY
Please post the last 8 of your VIN and a short description of the issue. I am not really looking for "lost slide tops" "slide makes noise" "slide doesn't go out all the way" I am looking for two specific items.
1. If the slide operated on its own. What happened, what was the scenario? (Driving, parked, was E-brake engaged or not)
2. Slide switch will not work. This is normally when there is a dull red LED light lit solid and will not go out (either on the E-brake light or low voltage light??). Slide stops can't be re-set and slide seems to not work.

Slide deployed while under way at about 50mph on an entrance ramp. Got it back in 6" at a time but kept trying to go out if somebody didn't hold the in button
Moisture from small roof leak determined as root cause by dynamax factory

Yes, thank you. And for sure, a leak seems to be the cause, but I think in some situations I wonder if "condensation" or humidity can cause it.

Dinette slide went in all by itself. We were able to reset through control panel buttons on the back.
Following week, after a heavy rain, both slide control panels were blinking red in the center and not working. We were able to reset again.

Not a problem but question/suggestion.
If moisture is the problem would a bit of WD 40 (Water Dispersant) help? It was designed for just this situation, removing moisture from electrical cicuits. If water/moisture can get in I would think WD40 can, too.

Had an issue with precision circuits which disabled are dinette slide but not our bedroom slide. Spoke to Brandon who stated the electoral engineer said they weren’t connected together.
Later we found out that another electrical engineer was the one who designed our ISATA 5’s electrical and it was connected. With us, if the precision Plex goes down our dinette slide will not work.

Please make sure you post the last 8 of your VIN, so I can note it and look up the repairs (if any)

Dinette slide failed to retract. Had to remove rear slide motor and push slide in manually with help from front motor using the manual override.
Found that the brake was rusted up and would not release. Replaced with new motor and added splash shielding to front and rear of generator compartment location. Also found that the rubber boot was torn on the motor assembly. This was replaced through Lippert.

CJ has us down to replace the slide controls when we come in for repairs in October. Do you think they should be replaced before then? My husband can switch them out.

we're still trying to figure out the cause....LCI just did a recall on the Georgetown stuff. I've been having meetings about it for several days now and was not happy with the level of response and investigation into the root cause.
So to exchange prematurely, before may not do any good. There is a new version of the controller, we are trying to see if that is what we are running now or what they have coming in.

2019 Isata 3 24 RW. Last 8 of VIN H9747831.
We were camped in 1 location for 3 days. On the 3rd day we returned to find the rear slide had closed itself completely. We reopened it with no issues. Then, 4 hours later, while we were asleep, it closed less than an inch. Then a few minutes later it did it again. We returned it to the fully open position. A few minutes later it started to close with DW still in it. This happened 2 more times. We finally gave up and slept the rest of the night in the theatre seating. We were not happy campers.

Understandably so...we are also not happy since we thought this was getting resolved. We have reengaged LCI and they say that their "Rev C" controller resolves the issue. We have been running that version on the line since May. We are trying to get a batch in so that we can swap them out, but we would really like LCI to be more proactive instead of reactive.

So, I assume, there’s no reason to take it back to the dealer yet?
Also, what happens if it opens by itself while in storage and it hits the rear wall of our storage unit?

I would recommend pulling the fuse out on the slide if in storage to be safe (if there is not enough clearance). I have already forwarded your info over to service...once we have supply (where we know we are not shorting the line) we'll try and get it out as quick as we can. Floor up with your service rep if we haven't reached out by next week.

Dinette Slide quit functioning
Slide initially came almost all way in by its self. Reset stops as per manual. Worked fine for several days then would not retract. Emergency retract as per manual worked fine. However, now not able to move under repeated trys. Double checked all manual settings, ie power, level to no avail. Several dealers I called just said if you did not buy it from us we do not provide phone trouble service. GREAT

Dynamax slide out operation. If there is a fault code triggered, it won't operated until it is cleared.

Last 8 Vin - GHGY8814
2016 Force HD 37BH
Initial post here:

Rundown - Jan 2017; Living room slide self deployed fully on straight/level highway. Immediate button push did nothing to retract slide. After repeated attempts and shutting off engine, slide finally retracted and stayed in. Luckily I have not had a repeat occurrence to date.
Possible - We had been winter camping in north Idaho (Dec-Jan) and were traveling south through Wyoming when event occurred. There is a possibility that ice/condensation had built up around the controller while camping and thawed as we were traveling south but that is only a guess based on other's reports of issues here.

FHGD3696 Was not able to extend the kitchen slide when we stopped last week. Tried to reset the switch as posted in the other thread. It never reset, but I was able to get the slide to go out, and then back in when we left. Now at another location, this time, I tried reseting, pushing the in, then resetting and trying to move it out. I hear a click, but the slide does not move out using the reset, press motor 1 and 2 button and then "out".
I am seeing error code 2 7. So, motor #2, but the only error code sheet I've found only goes up to code 6?
