Mine has the same cracks. I have noticed that when the doors are in the hot sun the cracks close up. In colder temps the cracks get bigger. I believe the cracks started because of the constant expanding and contracting over the years. The finished portion seems to be pop riveted to the insulated aluminum frame. I am thinking I might experiment with one of mine. Remove the painted cover, fix the crack with fiberglass from the back side of the panel and reattach it with pop rivets through and enlarged hole to allow for thermal expansion. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. For what its worth....I looked at several Dynaquests of this vintage before purchasing out current one...and they all had this problem. I am assuming that it is a common problem. I will get a pic or 2 posted when I get a chance.

Here are the pics of the cracks in my cargo doors. They have gotten MUCH worse than they were last fall I think that adds confirmation to my theory that the panels "shrink" in the cold temps, causing further cracks.
Oh well I guess I will be trying to repair these sooner than I thought
