Sneak Peek - Force HD Admiral Blue
Not done yet of course...but sometimes seeing the process is just as interesting as the final product. I will post the cut and buffed shots as soon as they are done.
I really like to see them before they are cleared. Having the entire coach, stripes and all in a matte finish is really cool. One day, I might run a proto with matte clear...but repair is %$#*&^%$$ (I'll see if I can dig up a picture of that)
As we're designing the new 2019 Force colors...we've opened up the playbook. Because the accent is just a small stripe, we can use some bolder colors, so we've been pulling from the BASF Carizzma and Zyrilliant color lines.
I will find a way to do one of the Carizzma colors that goes two tone....It reminds be the the old "Hyper Color" shirts. As the light hits it, the color changes. We would only run it on a stripe...but very cool iridescent effect.
I wish I would have over ruled sales and named this "Ming Blue" instead.

That looks fantastic!
Let me guess, the '19 Force HD gets aquahot/all electric as an option too, right? (the only reason we bought a DX3 vs. a Force HD).

lol...nope. In fact, we've created a little more separate between the two so the lines weren't quite so blurry.

Looks awesome. I better not let the DW see that or I’ll be looking for a second job to afford one [emoji3]

Wow.... That is really a sharp color. The dark blue paint makes it look deep if that makes any sense... Like if you touched it your hand would just keep going.
Thanks Brian for all the trouble..

I agree. Those pictures don't do it justice. There is a good amount of metallic in those colors, so in the light it looks way better.

On the new "gray" version..I think we need a red metallic. It'll be the sith version.

Can you elaborate further what the differences between the Force and the DX3 will be for 2019?
