some little improvements for our Isata 3
Our rig was purchased late last year and because of COVID and waiting for our slide recall parts to arrive, we have yet to take it on a trip except for one night camping in front of our house. So we have been busy tweeking some things. We replaced the hand towel holder in the bath with one of those U-shaped toilet paper holders. The original one allowed the towel to hang down and puddle on the counter. Many of these stick out from the wall a ways, but did find one at Lowe's that was just right. We also installed a towel rack above the toilet. The sewer hose storage tube, as delivered, was too far under the body of the RV to reach comfortably, especially while holding a dripping hose so after realizing that the tube did extend to the body, we attached it to the outer wall of the RV. We also added a slide valve to the end of the waste dump. It attaches just like a sewer hose and has the connection for attaching the hose to it. Our previous RV was a 5th Wheel with similar long cables to reach the waste tank valves and a long run of pipe. We always had some liquid in the pipe when we took off the cap so adding this valve makes emptying the tanks much neater.
