Tecma macerator toilet water level issues

Anyone out there have the Tecma macerator toilet (Isata 5DS) and have the water in the bowl leak down? I have the water level set and after a flush the water will drain out in about 15 seconds. Additionally the indicator on the switch panel is red and the black tank is not full. The only thing I saw in the manual was something about moving the drain hose up? Do I have to remove the toilet to do that? Seems like a lot of work for an adjustment.

Sorry about the photos being sideways, don't know how that happened. Anyone else have this issue?

The sensors for the toilet are separate from the Precision Plex. Unstick them and move them into the right place.

The water leaking out is associated or just the red light isse is because of sensors in the wrong place? Where are the sensors?

If you find that it is a water level problem, the owner’s manual states to press and hold both flush buttons simultaneously to enter the program mode. After 3-5 seconds, water will begin entering the toilet. Release the two buttons when the desired water level is reached. Tecma recommends water should be about 5” deep, but I think that’s a little high. Happy camping.

Done all that. Water doesn't stay in the bowl. It goes away in about 15 - 20 seconds. It's leaking past whatever valve internal to the toilet exists. Beyond my technical skills. Nothing in the book about it and very little on the internet. I was hoping someone on here had the same problem and figured it out.

Sounds like an internal problem. I have not seen that issue on the 5. Have you tried it with different angles of the jacks? I carry a small level and sometime tweak the jacks.

Great thought Scott, I have not tried this on level ground, perhaps the bleeding down of the water has to do with how I'm sitting? I'm going camping on Sunday I'll check it then and fingers crossed it's just a leveling issue?

Coach level did nothing. The Tecma thinks the tank is full. Tomorrow I will look at the tank sensors, do they look different than the regular sensors? How can I tell which is which, just look for two about an inch square?
Thanks,

Not flushing at all now

Red light is on indicating full tank. Tank is not full. Won't flush, the over ride does work.

It's fixed!

I drained and flushed the black tank and everything is working fine now (well the toilet still won't keep water in, it leaks down in about 15 seconds) but it will flush. The funny thing was dumping the black tank, I've never dumped one that's never been used, it was weird seeing nothing but clean water come out. That'll be the last time I see that too.

Anyway, thanks for all the input from you on the forum, but we are using the toilet now just fine.

Having the water drain slowly probably indicates a problem. I think I read that the toilet needs a water barrier.

That fresh water probably came from the bathroom sink. Usually if you have that toilet, the bathroom sink is connected to the black water tank so that you can put enough water into the tank for cleaning.

Thanks. It was clear because the M.H. is new and the tank has never been used. But you are right the lav dumps into the black tank. Still having tank sensor issues. I just took one of the tank sensors off and the toilet is working again. But still bleeds off water from the toilet bowl. Near as I can tell from reading just a very few notes I've found on the internet the problem something to do with a drain pipe and it's level on the back of the toilet. So far I have not figured out how to remove the toilet to investigate this drain pipe. Ideas?

Not a clue. Shouldn't that issue be covered under your warranty?

For sure it's a warranty issue, the coach is only a week old. But this time of year taking it to the dealer would take it out of commission for weeks. And we are in the tournament season now and have travel commitments through September. If it's a fix that doesn't need parts all I need is for someone to share how to get the toilet off the floor and how to adjust that drain pipe. No luck yet.

Would be covered under warranty if you choose to take it in. here is the manual. Shows proper location of sensors and also positioning of the discharge hose. It does say, if the discharge hose is positioned below the water line it could siphon the water.

I've got the manual, it doesn't really tell me how to get the toilet off the floor. There are no obvious mounting bolts. There are two holes on the sides near the floor I cannot see any mounting bolts or fasteners in the holes. I called Tecma customer service and she was stumped and told me to call the installer. I have a call in to Brandon and am waiting for a call back. I think I have to take the toilet off or pull it forward (it does move if you push on it it will lift off the floor about 1/4 inch) so I can get to the drain pipe. Tecma said to pull it up to where the water level should be then plastic wire tie it in that position. The issue with the red lights was the tank sensor. Again last night the sensor when red. So this morning I looked and both sensors are mounted near the bottom of the black tank about an inch apart. Too low to be effective. I pulled one of the sensors off and the toilet flushes fine now. Tecma support said I could leave the sensors pulled off the tank if I like as long as I use the other tank sensor (precision flex) to keep an eye on the black tank level. Once I figure out how to remove that plastic tank cover in the utility bay (screws are hard to reach), I'll move the Tecma tank sensors to the middle of the tank, one at the top and one mid level or so and see if they work there. If that doesn't cure it, I will just leave them off.
We have a great camping site at a really nice RV park at this casino, we are on the end of a row in the corner of the park and have a beautiful view out of all of the big windows on the drivers side. We like it so much we are thinking of extending our stay for a week and I'll just sit here and get things fixed for our longer road trip next week. Love the coach.

The manufacturer has to know how it is fastened to the floor.
