The DX3 is here

Joyce and I picked up our 2022 DX3 37RB last weekend over in Arkansas. All I can say is WOW!!! While signing for it and doing the walk around our Isata 5 (Trade in) sold before we left. What a difference jumping from the Ram chassis to Freightliner, soooo much to learn now. I've had Dodges since 92, sorta knew the ins and outs of that power train. The 300 mile trip home could have been a lil better, somewhere around Russelville we either took a rock in the side or small caliber bullet. Have a small hole in the outer surface for repair, also drug the neighbors trees down the side as we were swinging in our driveway. Rest assured he heard about that right away, LOL. We were really impressed with the ride and are looking forward to getting it back out, it's just too hot here in Oklahoma to even load it up right now.

Congratulations! I know you are going to love it even more as you get to know it better. Watch those trees, they can ruin your day. I’m also sure the sales guy told you to watch your tail swing…it’s a thing for sure.

Good luck and maybe we will see you on the road!

We traded our ‘18 I5 in for a DX3RB last year. We absolutely love it. It’s a completely change in camping. The size, the drive, and the washer/dryer are great changes. Do some research on the Safe-T plus. It has made a difference in the steering. ….Tree limbs- I spent 2 days cutting tree limbs, just to get in and out of the neighborhood. I asked for forgiveness and not permission [emoji16] from the neighbors. Funny thing is, I think they all thought I was just being nice getting some of the drooping limbs out of the road…. NOPE, was doing it so I wouldn’t scratch the RB. Enjoy!

Congratulations!
What dealer in Arkansas? We’re heading to Moix there in a few weeks to pick up our new rig.

Moix is the only dealer we have in Arkansas.

Enjoy your new rig, and welcome to the group. Lots of good people on here and Dynamax makes an awesome coach.

Thanks Jim, we enjoyed the Isata 5 and have gleaned much from following the forum for the last couple of years.

Joe, good advice on the tail swing for sure. Having been bitten in the past leaving our drive and dragging the rear of a 40' fifth wheel across the utility pole. Not the best way to start a weekend at the Buffet concert.

Also like the idea for the steering stabilizer, didn't notice much pulling but then again it was only 300 miles.

2X Joe's comment.

Become very familiar with the tail swing (radius). It helped us...when we first purchased our XL, we went to a gravel parking lot and drew a line off the back corner when I made the tight circle. Was very insightful to see the number of feet between the rear tire marks and that radius mark.
