tires

On our last RV I changed the tires at 30k for sidewalls cracking, they were date coded 2008 and when changed was 2017, not to bad.

Replacement Tires

We bought a 2013 37 foot Class A back in January 2018 which had less than 16,000 miles on the original (0512) Michelin 255/80R XRV tire on it. I noticed some cracking on the sideways and figured the rig must have probably sat a lot over the past 5 years. So, I opted to replace all six tires with new Michelin XRV tires yesterday.

It wasn't cheap; but, I now have peace of mind as we start the season. I should note that we saved over $100 per tire by using the Michelin Advantage Program through the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA).

Ready to roll!

2 of my nephews worked for different tire stores, the both run Toyos as have I, a little pricey, but I never worry about quality or warranty.

Toyo Tires

Replaced Goodyears with Toyos after inner rear blew while on the road. That was not much fun. $760.00 later for a new Goodyear and roadside service, bought all 6 new Toyos. Better to do it before than live with the SOUND and damage of a blowout. Like the Toyos!
