Tiffin Allegro Bay

Finally got to see an Allegro Bay in person, yesterday. First off, and I hope this was an anomaly, but the paint was truly awful. The cab literally looked like it was painted with a roller. Not kidding. There was a big streak of overspray on the underside of the front cap, too. The box was a bit better. Cabinets and trim were pretty nice. Furniture so-so. It was the bath-and-a-half layout.



I noticed the decals toward the rear just said, "Built By Tiffin", when their coaches normally say, "Built By Tiffin Motorhomes Inc., Red Bay Alabama". I wonder, are these being built alongside the Thor Pasadena/Inception, perhaps at another plant? Pure speculation on my part.



I was just blown away by the horrendous paint quality. How that passed anybody's QC is totally beyond me.

The downward trend with Tiffin products seems to be continuing. If this is a accurate portrayal of Allegro Bay workmanship, then it just reinforces the problems we experienced with our, now sold, 2017 Tiffin Breeze.
