We should have the moderator move this thread to the Science Channel
We should have a new rule: You cannot discuss politics, religion or tire air pressure on the forum.

I was seriously just about to ask what is it about tire threads that cause them to get so deep
I think the runaway freight train analogy is even better

I hope it stops pretty soon. I don't know if I can eat any more pop corn.

Oh yeah, oil seems to be a passionate subject too. Synthetic, non-synthetic, 20w-50 versus 10w-40, Delo versus Valvoline, the variations and opinions are endless. I'm sure we could get that discussion down to the molecular property levels pretty quick.

What about the gas vs. diesel...or 3/4 vs. 1-ton...or SRW vs. DRW threads?
They usually slow down the whole internet world wide!

Yep. Nitrogen is pretty inert meaning it doesn't react with other elements or compounds without a lot of heat added.
I think these threads are very humorous. The nitrogen in tires crowd reminds me of the snake oil threads like Seafoam
