Tire pressure sensor needed?

It's so easy to throw $$$ at these rigs to solve one problem, only to create another. At the moment I am concerned about them jamming each other . Also looking at the Alpha app that allows disconnecting the factory system.

But I found the correct replacement sensor and am going to give that a try first. Dealer sourced the part from a customer! So who knows.

New sensor arrived and was fitted this morning. It does not work and dealer (who could not fit it) does not know why. I drove the requisite 20 minutes at 50 mph but it remains showing only a red (-) at that position. I am convinced the dealer needs to code it to the ECU but they maintain its self discoverable by the ECU and they do not have software to anything else but look for it. Something they did but could not see it.

Does anyone have any other software other than AlfaOBD?
