Took a test drive

On our way through Las Vegas we stopped by Wagon Trail RV to look at and test drive a 2018 DX3BH with a cab over bunk. Didn’t want to spend too much of the sales consultant’s time because we aren’t ready financially to buy/order one. Nancy was very knowledge and accommodating during our visit. Fit and finish appeared very nice in the short time we took to inspect it. It is not as open as our 39’ Mobile Suites 5th wheel which is understandable. It is quite nice inside and our desired model is the 37TS with theater seats. I believe that floor plan will be to our liking and we hope to see one on an upcoming trip to St Louis.
They also sell the comparable Verona LE’s and we took a very short walk through. Nice, but didn’t like the floor plan.
Took a short test drive of the DX3, which to say the least, is a bit different than towing a 19K# fiver. Overall enjoyed the experience; good visibility and the air ride seats were fun. Question for the group here: the steering seemed a little on the numb side? Easy to turn but seemed to take a bit to actually turn and then I needed to return steering wheel back to center, didn’t seem to want to return to center on its own. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance for any info on steering and overall handling information.
