Tow Shield

Tried a new way to protect the front of the car while flat towing. A giant bra for the front the car. Works great. Easy on and off. No issues after using for 3,500 + miles.

The windshield flap can fold down to drive. However with all the front sensors in the Jeep bumper the car thinks it is blocked in so will not go in drive.

Looks nice, and worthy of the task.
The part regarding the car "thinks it's blocked in" so it won't go in drive is just a downside of today's "smart" cars. LOL.

Luckily I can turn those sensors off on my truck, because here in KS, we get ice a lot in the winter, and it builds up on those sensors on my front bumper, making a solid, annoying beep.

Looks good & we thought of getting something like that.

But someone on the forum recommended the Protect-A-Tow shield. We've been using it for about 15K miles with no chips, really really like it. The shield folds up into a small case and is a quick & easy install. It also keeps the rear camera clean

It costs about $250.

Here's a picture from the web site.
