at the plant, we have sometimes put aluminum in that area. No thicker than the angle iron next to it...I think they glue and put some rivets in for good measure.

I do not own a Dynamax, but I do own a TT with a slide. If my slide had marks on it like that I'd be very worried. Something is definitely amiss with that slide.

Thank you Brian for the response, there's an adjustment screw (see pic) in your professional opinion would an adjustment help take some pressure off that area?Click image for larger version

The slides do have adjustments points...but that can be a slippery slope.

If you mark where they all are today, with grease pencil or something, it will minimize the risk if you get too far off.

All depends on your level of DIY and risk appetite.

Thanks again, I won’t be moving it far, but that’s good advice, I do a lot of business with area rv dealers with body shops, I will ask for there advice also, they should have a lot of hands on experience

On the bottom it looks like a part number maybe? That whole assembly comes from LCI (Lippert Components). We get it in a full system, not parts.

I'm not Brian, but that's called a 'Head Assembly'. Just so you'll have the proper name for it.

as a side note...I would direct questions to the general public, as many of them can come back with an answer faster and in a few cases more accurate than me. (OK, in many cases more accurate and in a very small handful of cases 100% wrong)

If your handy and have a welder and a torch you could pull it off, straighten it and reinforce it so it doesn’t happen again. Unless of course the part is readily available.

Agree, just make one or straighten and reinforce. Bring it to a welding shop and they can do this for you. Shouldn’t cost much.
