Utility side porch light
Was parked next to a tiffin at the last stop with a porch light right above the wet bay. Lindsay asked what is that for? I said actually... thatd make setting up in the dark a lot simpler
Now I guess something so simple will take years of harness design to charge, but anything that's been talked about before? Doable?
Seems pretty logical and useful to me

Our Seneca had one too. I agree it would be a good addition. On the Seneca it was called a "Security" light. I left it on all night along with the porch light.

This is also offered on the Renegades. They have 5 total - 2 driver side, 2 passenger side, and 1 rear...all independently switched. I think it’s a great option as well.

I had them on all my Forester’s. It has really never come up before now since we had the wet bay light.

On our Isata 5, I removed the original wet bay light because it was VERY dim and semi-obscured by the grey tank drain pipe. I replaced it with 10 small-ish LED puck lights around the bay door opening and they face _into_ the bay so the entire bay glows bright white when you have the cargo lights on. Makes setting up at night MUCH nicer and the light is bright enough that is casts outside onto the ground when in use and the door is open. One of the better ~$10 mods I've done, now that I think of it.

Hi,
I added small motion activated, solar powered lights in a couple locations where I wanted additional illumination.
Something like this...

FWIW.

I added a section of LED rope light underneath the wet bay area and wired it into the wet bay light switch near the anderson valve.
I also saw a post a while back where someone used a magnetic/swivel based light stuck to the inside surface of the wet bay door. By opening the door different amounts, they could direct the light where needed.

I'm old, I go to bed when it's dark and don't need the lights...
But I like the puck idea, I'm going to try that one. I have an LED strait light fixture I bought years ago, has a motion on/off switch that would be great in that application.

If you don't relish the idea of running wires, consider some battery operated puck lights. I have one in the electric bay and inside across from the pantry which is a bit dark. Installed with extra Command tape.

I just ran 30' of 2 AWG for my solar through the cab so I'm not against running wires. But this was more of just a design suggestion. I know there are plenty of work arounds and honestly my head lamp works fine also, just passing a tidbit along that might help dynamax compare with others

Its not wired, but a pretty easy solution if you need light.

These are the lights that we have in our wet bay now......actually, the wet bay was just my test run and I've done this in every bay at this point. With these on and the wet bay door open, they cast pretty good light outside the bay. I just "stole" the wires that ran to the original wet bay light (which had the light output of a Bic lighter) and connected them to my new lights. They are held on with double-sided tape. So, the install was virtually no tools and they've stayed put for almost a year now in everything from freezing temps in Colorado to 104 degrees in West Texas.
