Valve stem stabilizer
Has anybody found valve stem stabilizers for a 2017 Isata 3? The wheels are HiSpec and have oval openings. I want to add a TPMS but I think I will definitely need to support the inner tire valve stems.

I believe they are available individually on the Alcoa web site. Round and oval.

The Hispec are not the same as Alcoa. I never could find a stabilizer to fit. I ended up using black silicone to anchor the stem to the inside of one of the openings. Downside is if you ever have the tire off, you would have to reseal.

3 years and 15k miles was never a problem.

Thanks for the replies. I looked at ShinyRV but they all appear to be too thin. The HiSpec rim has a very wide lip on one side.

Did you use Black silicone caulk or a black silicone adhesive?

The Black Silicone Adhesive. It still will easily come off the metal when you remove a tire.

How many different types of wheels are put on the Sprinter? Shiny RV shows seven. When I ordered mine I wasn’t sure which one would fit so I called them to discuss the issue. Very good customer service.

Thanks, I will try the silicone. I did see a new Isata3 at the dealership last year that had a TPMS with no stabilizer on a flexible valve stem but I would be concerned about the wear on the valve. Apparently Dynamax is putting them on the new units unless the dealer installed the TPMS.
