Very, very, very small stream of water

I recently had my water pump replaced. Right after it was replaced I went camping in a campground that had water. Hooked up the city water but got no water out of any one of my faucets or shower. Couldn’t figure out so I thought well no problem. I could just use the water pump and so I filled the tank. The tank water came through fine for a couple days and then it just decreased down to an unusable little stream, I have no water from the city water and very little from the pump. But the pump is working. it builds up a little bit of pressure in the system and you turn on the water and comes out pretty good for about a half a second and then it just drops to almost nothing. Anybody got any ideas on this one? Thanks, David . 2016 dynamic isata 3

the first place to check is the filters and aerator screens. any time you open any piping it can stir up sediments that plug these screens. DR

Thanks for helping but everything was working and now everything doesn’t work so couldn’t be that unless maybe the guy that put in the water pump left some kind of trash in the system that then clogged everything up all at the same time. You know…..it just might be worth a try since this is so bizarre.

I did take out the main filter on the chance that that was clogged but it wasn’t that. In the process I did notice that the city water makes it to this filter.

Thanks again for your reply

before you go much farther check a couple aerators, they are the easiest to check and easiest to plug up. DR

And that's the way it works.
Have you removed any aerators and checked for trash?

You could also remove a water line from the bottom of the faucet, hold it in a bucket and have someone turn on the pump or city water (if connected) and see what kind of flow you get. Don't forget to check the suction/strainer screen on the pump and the inlet screen on the city water connection.

Also, if you are draining your water heater via the low point drains between trips WITHOUT FIRST putting the water heater into bypass, you are sucking crud from the bottom of the water heater into the lines where much of it remains and on re-pressurization it clogs up the faucet aerators and the toilet valve.

Turned out to be a bad outdoor shower valve system. Mine has a valve system besides the outdoor shower. (Which I never even touched) where the there is a choice of normal, city water and winterize I believe. Bypass this thing and the water works fine. Thanks for all the comments.

You must have some iteration of a Nautilus Control.
You must have always been on city hook-ups if you never touched it or never winterized, because just as you mention, those valves must be turned to different configurations for city water/winterization/dry camping/etc.

I don't know what you did to "bypass the the thing" but you really should get it working if you ever decide to do any of the things I just mentioned.

That sounds like your winterizing valve which a lot of RVs have and shouldn't have anything to do with your outside shower.

Also just realized that you have a Dynamax. Moving this thread to the Dynamax forum where you can possibly get better help from factory reps.
