Wandering causes
New 2023 Dynamax DX3 34KD, Driving in wind, rough roads, and around a lot of traffic, I would expect wandering. However even on the smoothest roads, no wind, and no traffic this rig wanders both directions and when I use the slightest adjustment I can feel a vibration until it changes direction then it goes away. I have recently read articles about the height of some freighliner chasis causing problems like this, but those were class A chasis. It is almost like the stearing box is not tight enough. I had an older ford pickup that had that problem and it took ford two orders to get one that worked correctly. Anyone else have this issue?

Many of us added Safe T Plus steering stabilizer to help with that issue, not sure what causes it, but it corrects it.

I'd recommend taking it to Freightliner Service to have it looked at, and aligned if needed. Make sure you inform them of the vibration.
I had to take ours in last year after having the SafeTPlus installed. Our dealer installed ours and it needed adjustment.
The Class A chassis, by Freightliner, are not a commercial chassis as is the M2. The Class A's are built by Freightliner Custom Chassis.

I would check toe setting myself. I use a couple 4’ levels. Make sure tires are all at correct pressure. Flat even surface. Lots of videos out there if you need.
I have the Safe t stabilizer also. Huge improvement.

Take it to a Freigtliner shop. You may have something loose in the steering arms/front suspension or maybe a loose wheel bearing.
Safety-plus is a great product but it can also hide or dampen a root issue.

Took it to an alignment place 134 miles away. 2 hours to fix the problem. The castor was out of whack and the guy told me it would be much better now. I drove home and it was like I was in a different motorhome! It was windy and asphault wasn't the best but it tracked so much better I am very happy the problem is solved. I was also surprised at how low the price was. He also checked the rear axle alignment. I believe in fixing the real issue first. I knew that the Safe-T stabilizer could hide actual problems. I may or may not install one now, even though the guy who worked on mine did recommend one. I also submitted a complaint to the manufacturer because they should have a checklist for the delivery drivers to report any issues they notice during the delivery process. They also should certainly do a test drive to make sure there aren't lssues being sold that are not under warranty. I can only hope because they did not reply to my suggestion? All GENYC corporations are the same. Get Every Nickle You Can.

Well I was interested in your comment until you ripped on the manufacturer with opinions.
They do provide a delivery checklist, whether your dealer or the driver filled it out, how is that their fault? I know, I just saw the delivery driver report two days ago on my new unit.

This is an opinion based on experience with Dynamax? I for one, have been the recipient of great customer service, including many times the argument could be made that Dynamax was not responsible and they still covered it. They have shipped parts to me in Florida and California, performed service work at their facility in Elkhart, some warranty, some not, but all at no charge. If they are a GENYC corporation as you call it, you couldn’t tell it by my experience. Fanboy, maybe. I prefer to think I recognize great customer service that goes beyond what is expected.
As halla indicated, I believe your issue is more likely with the dealer who may not have done a proper PDI on your unit.

Also, the castor is a Freightliner chassis issue - not Dynamax.

I actually appreciate your comments. Howver, I still feel I am justified. I would never posted my opinion if I had received any response indicating the dealer should have told me about the delivery checklist. All I got from then was that the delivery drivers according to their experience was they were not interested in anything but their check. No one from Dynamax communicated with me concerning this issue. While I know this issue was a chassis issue, I am a firm believer in that when a motorhome is delivered it should be road worthy regardless of who is responsible for paying for the problem. Alignment can issues can cause tire wear and I see a lot of people have installed Safe-T Stabelizers to cover these issues. Michelin will appreciate this because they will sell more tires. Honestly, anyone who installed one without getting an alignment, made a mistake that can be corrected. Goe to the right place, make sure they have the capability to do the rear axle alignment as well.
As for the dealership I went to, yes I did get the best price but the worst customer service available. My recommendation for Dynamax is to drop them. My experience with Dynamax has been great in most ways. The parts department is great.
Some of you do not realize there have been several issues that the dealership did not handle correctly, I tried several times to get Freightliner dealers to fix problems or Freightliner certified warranty locations with very little success.
I will recommend Alignrite, INC, 1601 Truckers Blvd., Jeffersonville, IN 47130 for alignment, get an appointment and get great service that you can rely on.

Hunh? Who did you reach out to? I am literally here every day....and you say "No one from Dynamax responded?". So you use that one single time as the rule and not the 100 other times we have responded?
We align every single M2 after it is built and ever single coach is test driven...it would be ludicrous not to.
Even when aligned, it takes hitting one single curb or pothole to potentially "un align" it.

Very true. Also a new truck likely needs to be realigned after being used for a couple 1000 miles. It takes usage to get all the attachment points of the suspension to settle. That being said maybe the dealer PDI should include an alignment check after receiving.
My opinion.

My dealer experience was very similar to GrumpyBoss. It seems many dealers are not that concerned about the buyer experience and just want the money and you out the door. Fortunately, I have been able to resolve most issues myself and the couple of major issues were fixed at the factory. Regardless of dealer experience I am not sure I would do anything different, post-sale.

That brings up one more thing. You bought EXACTLY how we tell you not to buy.
1. You did not buy locally, so that you could get a better price.
2. You paid for the vehicle without confirming the items you asked for were completed.
3. You didn't pick up the vehicle so that you could spend some time driving or going through it or spending the night at the dealership so they could correct stuff on the spot.
4. You have them transport the vehicle to your home (PS. Those are not our transport companies, they use their own people).
I know that many people will buy online/out of market, but they are typically on their X RV and they know what to expect when things don't go their way. Their savings is the justification for inconveniences.

The first statement 1. is correct.
Number 2 through 5. are all lies.
Who do you work for? Are your paid to make this stuff up?
Check with the Tony Agananos, or Jamie Justis to get more of the entire picture. I overlooked a couple of your statements even though you were not interested in the truth.
By the way I found the little triangle button on every post that allows a person to report any posts that might be harassment. I used it with a simple statement, those were all lies, which is true.

Might want to take a breath and next time do your homework before posting statements like that. Just a little helpful hint

My apologies. I was confusing you with another screen name. Although I would hardly call it harassment...just a misunderstanding that I take full responsibility for.
