It’s cool here especially at night. We’ve been running the heat pump in the mornings. The camp grounds are packed, especially on the weekends. We’re on our way to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. I’ll keep you posted. I made reservations in March for this trip so we haven’t had any problems. If I were you I would start reserving soon.

Who needs to go camping with that view?!

Actually, I get it. We often say why go camping and be close to others when we don’t see a soul at our place. We have a nice view at home, it’s just not as nice as yours.

There are about 7-8 sites with good views. The remaining sites are nice, level, gravel, with plenty of shade, but no view except the woods. There is a common area with chairs that has a view of the mountains and the French Broad River. The only negative is the half mile access dirt road that is poorly maintained, steep and rough, but everyone seems to make it up okay.

Another real nice park is Moma Gerties:
Asheville RV Park and Camping | Asheville NC Camping | Tent Camping
They have more sites with great views of the mountains.

Both of these parks stay full so call ahead.

Happy camping, Dave
