We have been set up here in Site 3911 now for 2 weeks. Taking care of some projects and adding some lock down living space.

After 45 days of hunkering down at home, we are on our first camping trip in the 2021 Isata 5 30FW. We went 5 hrs down the road to South Padre Island which opened yesterday for camping. We are at the KOA on the bay side. Very nice for a KOA.
Not all resorts are open yet. State Parks are still closed for camping. Our go to spot in Port Aransas told me they didn’t know when they would open and earliest reservation they will take is Sept 1. They had already cancelled my May reservation.

Staring at a closed lake at WillowTree RV Resort in South Carolina and thinking about good times with all of our Dynamax friends.

Urban Camping
We did a little urban camping this weekend. Found a restaurant that was open for take out with a nice parking lot and posted up for mother's day dinner.
My brother brought his DP and I brought the short bus. Mom was very happy.

Seeing more of these kind of articles. Our neighbors who cruised all the time and have never camped just put down a deposit on an RV. Going to be an interesting summer getting RV camping spots. Book early.

Front yard sleep in!
We did a front yard overnight to test all systems before our Memorial Day weekend maiden voyage!
All systems are a go to launch!

That is outstanding. I always recommend that...if anything, just to get used to all the gadgets.

I am saying this in jest...
Since Pennsylvanians are not allowed to visit Delaware beaches don’t you fell guilty visiting PA?
Please enjoy your trip.

Didn't know if we would get stopped and turned around at the line but we made it all the way. Place is about 1/4 full but nice, cool and quiet.

Camping vicariously via visiting daughter at a nearby almost boondocking local campground. Old small farm field by a small river. They set up fire rings, random portapotties and several water hand pumps around the field dirt road loop. This year they smoothed out and graveled the loop.
