Tried adding this pic as my FB group intro today but wasn’t able to access it, so I thought it might be enjoyed here even though we’re not camped in this location today (at home ).

Had a great time with our coach on this trip. This is the overflow lot at Coronado Campground in Bernalillo, NM.

We took delivery of our coach in Aug. Since, we’ve got nearly 6k logged and over 30 nights to date.

First Trip

This was at our son's swim meet. We had called ahead to the school for permission, which was granted. What we were not told and didn't know, was we needed to coordinate with the with the hosting swim club. At 5:30pm we were asked to leave, even though the hosting team had confirmed with the school that we had been granted permission.

It seems, responsibility is transferred to the hosting club, and since they were not informed prior to the event, they had no security with keys set up to stay. With no security with keys, they would not keep the gates unlocked (reasonable), hand over a set of keys to us (reasonable) or lock us inside with no emergency exit available (again, reasonable).

We ended up packing up and driving to the nearest Cracker Barrel restaurant. It was really a shared parking lot, but there were two other RV's staying the night near us in the back 40, as well. It was still a good time and good learning experience.

Did I mention the MIL light popped on for about 24 hours but cleared itself the day before take-off. Thought we were going to pack up the Tacoma or Durango instead.

Just returned from 11 nights at Pymatuning State Park on the Ohio side. I had to cancel a Myrtle beach trip, but there were alot of bonuses for staying close to home for Thanksgiving. Most of the time 2 units and 2 people in the whole park. Solitude and no fuel stops.

Yea and I stomped those grapes for the wine with my own bare feet. Adds flavor.

Especially when laundry is day after tomorrow, and you’re wearing your last pair for the last week or so.

Oglebay Festival of Lights

Always wanted to see the lights at Oglebay, W.V. so last weekend I took my extended family for a one day trip. It was a hit, so I went back this weekend for an overnight at camp Hampton Inn, Wheeling, with my friend and his young family. Great times, thanks to this machine.
The Hampton Inn is great too. I wished i slept in the RV, so I hope that counts as camping for the thread.

Our first time to Hilton Head. This is a beautiful park. Sites are roomy. It's very quiet.

Lee-Hi campground and TA truck stop

On our way to AL. Stopped here for one night. Between the trucks parked for the night an I81, it can be a little noisy, but not too bad.

We stayed there one night too. The noise wasn't the deciding factor for us not to go there again but the diesel fumes were.

BTW... I had to log onto a computer to see where you stayed as individual post titles DO NOT show in the mobile app. Only in the original first post.

In a long thread, it is advised to put all pertinent information within the body of the post.
