Where to put additional batteries??

So I want to add additional batteries.... The problem is I don't think the plastic cargo bays will be able to withstand the weight od 2 group 8 AGM batteries.

So two questions:

1) Where are all you high-speed boon-dockers putting your extra heavy batteries? (Lithium is not an option right now)

2) Can you mix 2 group 4 and 2 group 8 batteries of the same brand and type (AGM)?

Thank you.

Chad

a 3rd 4D battery fits next to the existing 2, unless its a slide tray, then I think it is only rated for the weight of 2. I don't know of many people adding much more than a 3rd there.

Most people use the gen to charge or solar.
