Why no Overhead Bunk on ISATA 3 RB model?

I'm guessing its all about total weight? I for one would LOVE to see a RB with that ceiling drop down bed WITH a overhead cab bunk.

Anyway this could be done?

It has to do with the bracket for the drop bed and how it attaches. Weight was the secondary concern.

You can stop the drop bed mid way down and still use the sofa/sofa below as a bed. You trying to sleep 6 in that thing?

Well it seats at least 8 people and even with the couch folding into a bed, having that overhead bunk PLUS that drop down bed would be PERFECT for a young family like mine of two adults, 3 young kids and sometimes a grandparent or two.

Would the overhead bunk hang over to much and interfere with that bracket that hooks the drop down bed?

Have you seen the floorplan of the Gulf Stream Conquest 6256?

Also, does the booth come down and turn into a bed? I can only find pictures of the sofa folding out but nothing of the booth.

I couldn't imagine 8 in there. The dinette does make down into a bed.

Also, on the Gulstream, that is on a 14k chassis.

While the 24RB has much better CCC due to no slides, 8 people in theory is 1200 lbs of people. I think the 24RB has 1300 lbs of CCC. An E450 would have 4,000.

Sorry what do you mean by a 14k chassis? That a reference for the E-350?

And thank you for the response as you make a great point about the CCC. I think that's why I like the Dynaquest so much! Can get a 26fter but has a very high CCC

I thought it was an E450. Even an E350 would be 12.5k.
