winterize or not

I'm picking up my new- used 2018 DX3 next week. I always have my RV plugged into 50 Amp shore power at all times when not in use. Do I still need to winter the DX3?

Do you live where temperatures get below 32º for extended periods of time?
If so you'll need to winterize.

Yes it does get below 32 here at times. What I do now on my 5th wheel is put a small ceramic heater in any bay that has a water line in it. I leave the heaters on the lowest settings and they run when the compartment gets to about 42 f. I also leave a ceramic heater on inside the unit and keep at 50 F. Never had a problem on either a pusher or 5th wheel but I know all units are not setup the same. We do use our RV once a month during the winter. Thanks.

We live in Northern Arkansas. So you see my dilemma, I'll be winterizing every three weeks if my heaters won't work. The DX will be under-roof but not closed in.

If you never had a freeze problem on the 5th wheel or class A using your heaters, you will probably be OK on the DX3. I would probably use 30 psi air to blow everything out just to be safe. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to do.
