Winterizing 2019 DX3 TS

After I turned the valve to allow the AF to be taken up by the pump it seems to have gone in the tank instead of the pump. Looks like a 2 way valve and might be installed improperly. Anyone have this issue.

Yes, found mine was installed backward. Took a bit of work to cut the valve out and reverse it. Same found the AF went into the tank.

Easy if you install it wrong every day.

PS. Which valve are you referring to?

We have two way valve for A: City Water and B: tank fill.

For Antifreeze, we have a take up tube. I think that one has a three way valve?

It the valve installed between the pump and the tank close to the pump. It has 3 sides to it and the valve opens the tank to the pump or the pump to the open ended hose (I assume for the AF PU).

Sorry I started another thread about DX3 winterization, and I'm currently at this step and confused.

How am I to get antifreeze into the Aquahot system? My understanding was you have to get antifreeze into the fresh water tank so that you can cycle it into the Aquahot.

I came to a conclusion that I might have to hand pump it in via the city water hose.

Am I going about this all wrong?

I would not recommend putting it in your fresh tank. Will make flushing it a headache. The aqua hot just needs anti freeze run through the hot lines and it'll recieve anti freeze. Long story short, run everything that uses water till it comes out pink and you should be good. I use a sump pump in a 5 gal bucket to feed the city connection. Some coaches have a valve that'll let the onboard pump draw from a hose

To get antifreeze into the Aquahot...turn on the hot water at the faucet. (assuming you have figured out how to get antifreeze to the faucets)
