Xplorer Package

Any updates if and when the Xplorer package will be available on other units?

No, but I do have a sneak peek of the "light" Xplorer scheme.

Excellent photo of the exterior showing off the "light" scheme.

Me wife also asked about Xplorer Package details/offerings on other units so just thought we would chime in and let you know there are many others out here like us looking at other models that may offer that there Xplorer Package!

Thanks BC. I just remember reading it somewhere that it was a possibility. Just wasn’t sure if it was just across the I5 line or if it was going to be possible for the M2 chassis as well.

Well, I think in that same thread I mentioned that the M2 was a different animal. So really, we have people winter camping in those now (as is evidenced by the thread on winter camping). The 5 series was not...but with the shorter length, we have the weight to do what we do on the M2 stuff.

So while I plan to offer it on other floor plans...it might just be floor plan. The 30FW. And even then, the slide sits outside so it is NOT as ideal as the 28SS. But I think still workable.

Again Thank You. DW asked if it would ever be available on the 36 DS as she’s not a fan of just the dinette or couch option.

The 30FW has sofa and dinette.

As for the 36, not sure. It comes down to weight. It depends if the lithium, offsets all the other adds. What tends to happen is everyone gets every option under the sun (including 300 lbs 4x4) and then sues me when there is not enough carrying capacity. "why would you offer all of those options if I can't travel with full fresh water tank, 8 people AND a 10,000 lbs trailer). And I wish I would kidding. It needs to be able to have every single option and still have at least 1100-1200 ccc. (and really I would prefer more).

Completely understand. But there’s always “something” she’s not a fan of the folding mattress 😂

Wow...your wife sounds EXACTLY like mine. I read your responses and it is as if you read her mind.

Amazing.

I agree with all that has been posted...we go back and forth on everything from the 28SS to the DQ XL...but we have a little time so will be fun to see what comes of all of these discussions.

Being able to operate in cold temperatures is pretty important to us being where we live.

Thanks for all the input.

I’m super pumped that Dynamax engineered this package. Our family camps at our local ski resort every weekend so this is perfect for us. Unfortunately the 28 is to small and really want the 36ds in explorer package. Dynamax please find a way to make it work!!!!!!!We’ll be your first order. And by the way we love the new paint scheme!

Well, that is currently the plan. As I mentioned before the 28SS was the "Proof of concept" and the one we knew would work for many reasons. The 30FW would be the natural next selection and then the 36DS. Both are undergoing tweaks to "allow it" and then we just have to decide "just because we can, should we?". Currently analyzing weights and until I see red flags we would proceed.

I get the weight issue being a concern. I really hope you can work a way to get the explorer in the 36ds. Love the direction you guys are headed in. Thanks for the response.

One suggestion is to offer ladder as option. Cant tell you how many times I’ve had to get on my roof to clear snow off my solar panels.

I like my telescoping ladder I bought on Amazon. It fits in my compartment easy but it reaches the roof with out any issue.

BC,
Thanks for the shots of the fresh new light scheme on the 28SS. We have that one order.
What color will the cab be on the light option?
