Cable Splitter location

Hi all. First day on the website and pretty sure it won’t be my last. A little background-my wife and I are first-time RV owners. We didn’t intend to get an RV at this point in our lives, but our house burned a couple of months ago and we determined that setting up shop in an RV in the backyard was our best option. We’ve been in it for a couple of weeks now and, for the most part, so far so good.

We had cable run to the unit and no problems with the the TV, but we have trouble with maintaining our internet connection. We had the cable guys out here twice and it’s still not functioning properly. The last guy that was here suspected the problem might be associated with the cable splitter, but we couldn’t find it. We have a 2019 Sabre 36 frp. Can anyone let me know where to locate it?

Also, while I’ve got you, when I look up the specs for this model online, it indicates that there is 1 70 gallon gray water holding unit and 1 70 gallon black water tank. But I actually have 2 black holding tanks and 3 (counting the galley water tank) gray tanks. Can anyone tell me the capacity on these? This is of interest because I use a 36 gallon sewage water toter to empty the tanks into our sewer clean-out access.

The splitters can be anywhere, depending on who was installing the coax that day. Usually they are behind a coax faceplate, but I have found them in cubbies, behind drawers, in cabinets, in dead spaces you can only access by removing a false panel. Try to follow the coax path from the outside in and look in any hidden spaces you can access. Good luck!
