Hisense 120V Refrigerator Hold Downs

Our 2021 37FLH came with a Hisense 120 residential refrigerator. There is an annoying buzz / hum in the morning only. I figure that it is only a vibration from the fridge against the wall enclosure. I see that there are two hold downs on front that attach to the floor. I unfastened them and tried to pull it out to see what's going on but it didn't give and I didn't want to bust something. Do you know if there are any other hold downs? It may just be a heavy fridge and that I need to be a little more aggressive. Thanks in advance.

Are you certain that this noise is not the "frost-free" cycle kicking in?

No not certain. If I gently try to tip the fridge left or right it quiets down a lot. The fridge is level all the way around but seems a little tight.

Mine does same thing

My Hisense has a hum slight rattle very annoying I find if I push back on upper corners I can get it to stop for a little while 1-2 hours, but it comes back. I haven’t tried adjusting front leveling feet down to tip top back yet. I will try and report back. I thought it was just my unit but apparently it may be design flaw.

Ours is a residential fridge (don't recall the brand - not at camper right now). Mine has a large "L" shaped bracket across the top - to hold it in place and keep it from tipping out during transit. Yours may as well. It appears to have been attached to the wall with screws, then glue applied to the bracket and the fridge then moved in under the bracket. There is not enough room to get a tool in there to remove the screws. I only know this because it recently broke loose from the bracket (the glue part gave away) and it is leaning slightly forward. I then examined carefully how to reattach.

So I am going to put some shims under the front so it is level while parked, and put a strap across the top front to secure in place during transit - and just live with it.

But all that said - mine doesn't make any weird noises. Sorry, can't help with that part. Good luck.

Rattle found

I believe I found my rattle it appears to be a piece of metal at the bottom all the way in the back (laying down with a flashlight you can see it) that rests on the floor and vibrates I use the 1/4 inch by three-quarter inch piece of wood about 3 foot long. sharpen the end ( like a shim)shoved it back in there until the rattle stopped had to move it around a couple times. Once I found the sweet spot I marked and cut it so it was not visible in front. Hopefully this will work for you.
