Just want to be loved

This is going to be my analogy. Call it strange. Just trying to figure things out. I read on here everyday about wrong doings. Things not built or made right. Dealerships not doing right. Now the analogy part. IF? We are all a camping family. We the consumer are the children. The manufacturer being the the parents. Lets say the dealerships are the god parents. Then why as parents would you treat your kids this way. As kids we want to be treated with respect. We want or need guidance. I just think the parents could treat the kids better. I don't want to be a spoiled kid. I just think us kids want to be shown we are loved! I don't want to say abrused or neglected. But not feeling the love and attention I think we deserve. We all want to be loved. I don't think we want to be the favorite child. I definitely don't think we want to be the squeaky wheel child. But we are made to be. I just want mom and dad to treat us the same. AND BE A LOVING FAMILY!!!! I don't think that is too much to ask for.

How's the old saying go "Don't ever loan money to a friend or family you want to keep as a friend or family"!

The RV industry is a money business, not family..... so there's really no intimacy.

Unless something affects the money side of it, it's going to be hard to get any changes out of it.

But they do show us love with all the FROG rallies they sponsor and everything they do at the factory rally. I think your analogy using family would be more appropriate to say the parents had no prenatal care and picked a bad babysitter with the dealership but then try to make amends sporadically.

While talking about dealing with teenagers I heard a parent say....."Grandkids are God's little rewards for not killing your own."

Best way to teach kids is to let them figure it out on their own and fix their own problems. No hand holding in this family. Lol

My parents have been ok but my god parents have been very questionable. I think they stole my trust fund.

The issue seems to be that "they" don't make anything that lasts anymore. The real reason is that we want bigger / better for less. We won't pay for more; so less is a sure thing. Why would a manufacturer want to go bankrupt making things of higher quality, if the product won't be bought ... it would have to cost him more to make ... which we know the buying public doesn't care about and won't pay for. We have met the enemy and he is us!
