The very first thing whenever you buy a travel trailer you have to do is pull all the plastic/vinyl insert trim out . The screws are crooked , missing , stripped or not completely in . Water hits the screws and bingo you have water entering . it may take days or weeks or months to become apparent .
Each screw needs to be removed sealant pumped into hole and screw put back in so it burns out to seal screw head .
Quality insert trim needs to be installed , rv industry uses cheap trim , needs to be a heavy duty rubber to last .

Well, that is part of the problem. I have been telling them from the beginning that I have a camping trip coming up, with the date that I need to get the camper back. I really need the camper back this weekend. They are not making any promises that they can have it done by then. Of course, part of the problem is waiting on Forest River to approve the warranty work. But they let my camper sit out in the rain for a week before they started when they knew it was leaking. If they had started sooner, they would have had more time.
There is virtually no chance that I will get the camper back with all of the repairs completed. However, if they can simply get the leak fixed and the damage repaired and reassemble the camper, at least I could use it and bring it back later. I could get by without two air conditioners since we are still in April. One of the air conditioners has never worked, but they may have to wait to get the parts they need. This is just one example.

Look if the wood isn’t rotten or black then it’s no a big deal. Make sure they treat the wood with chemicals ( for example vinegar kills any mold spores in the wood, not bleach. Very important if you ever find water in your camper). Always go for totally replacement, if not then make sure they do the above, how are they treating the wood or replacing all the wood. Mold only comes when it’s wet and dry constantly. Have them replace the insulation and any pourious material, dry all areas, treat all areas for any potential mold spores where water was at, and your good. Put back insulation, replace wood or treat it. Good luck

Don't be surprised if Forest River asks for the unit to be returned to the factory so they can do a complete inspection and determine how far they need to peel it back. There are others in the forum who have done that so the factory can redo an entire wall or whatever needs to be done.

Picked up the camper and we are about to take another trip with it. They fixed the leak and the damage, but they did some more cosmetic damage in the process. And they left a mess in the camper but we cleaned it up.
They will be fixing the damage and all the other items on the list when we return and I take it back.
The saga continues.
