2019 + MBS Sprinter Chassis Spare Tire

I confirmed today that the new 2019+ Sprinter VS30 chassis will not include a spare tire on the Forester / Sunseeker line up. Other FR brands may vary so ask your dealer.

So if you want a spare tire you'll need to purchase one and a way to mount it. I reckon that's one way to improve the listed CCC by about 70 pounds!

I found a good source for Sprinter wheels if anyone is looking for one. Wheels Express Inc. sells on Ebay, user name bgfilip2000, and they have take off wheels for $47.50 including shipping to the lower 48. The company website is Here. For those interested in a tire / wheel assembly there a couple other Ebay sellers selling take off wheels and tires as a complete unit.

I'd rather have my local tire shop put on a tire than have a complete wheel and tire assembly shipped. That way I can check the Date Code of a new tire before it is installed and balanced. Price wise it worked out a little cheaper to buy the wheel and tire separately as well.
