2401r Forester outside tv/dvd

Trying to figure out if you can watch a DVD on outside tv
from the pioneer player inside. There's a DVD player on outside tv but there's not enough room to insert the DVD.

I believe to make that work you would have to install some sort of splitter on the HDMI cable going from the player to the inside TV. Can't you adjust how the outside TV is mounted to allow for the insertion of a DVD into the player? Let the forum know what you come up with.

I'm sure we change out the mount to one that would allow the tv to extend, it's just weird the manufacturer would install it this way. We don't really want to watch TV outside, just thought you'd be able to without any modifications...thanks SeaDog!!!

On our 2401W model, the outside TV is on a small plastic mount. To remove the TV to access the DVD slot, just pull up on the TV while wiggling it slightly from side to side. This will allow the TV to come off the mount. Just replace it back on the mount once the DVD is inserted.

On our 2018 FR 304BS, there is already a splitter from the inside dvd/radio to the video connection on the outside of the trailer below the bracket. Stick in dvd inside hook up tv outside with single cable and watch movie.

hi .. I just had the same question here http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...0w-138111.html

I talked to dealer.

and agree with a comment above.

My solution will be to remove the tv if I want to play a dvd .. since its a tv/dvd combo.

but I'm also thinking of just installing an HDMI cable so this way I can play something off computer or a portable dvd player..
