2401W step fuse location

Where is this fuse? Does it look like a regular automotive fuse?

Unless it's changed... It's located in the battery control center (on the kitchen side of the entry steps). I think it's labeled "Electric Seat". (Maybe auto corrected from "Electric Step"???) I think it's fuse # 5...

Mine is also labeled Electric Seat. Silly me. Thanks, Dave.

Angry 2016 dynamax isata 3

blown fuse for the entry steps

dynamax tells me that the first entry step into the unit,
should raise up and expose the fuse. on a 2016 this step does not raise
only step raising would be the house battery location.
I cannot find this fuse to resolve my problem. HELP

Not sure about Dynamax - they do things a bit differently - but the other Forest River MBS models have a fuse panel on the left wall next to the steps. I think it's behind a cover held in place with a thumb screw...

Have you found the fuse yet?

I believe the fuse for the step in the BCC is the resettable type. I had the same problem recently. All fuses were fine but the motor was bad, which was replaced and steps work fine now. If the light under the step comes on, you probably have power to the steps but will need to consider a bad motor if all else fails.

I read where bclemens indicated the fuse (when in the battery compartment) is on a bulkhead (wall behind battery) along with other fuses. Could be.
