Dash switch size

I'm trying to order a switch to mount in the dash to be able to turn the rear camera on and off. I was wondering if anyone knows the size switch that fits in the blanks pictured below? I'm stuck and work for a 16 hour shift and am trying to order it but can't find the size on the Google machine. Sorry in advance for the sideways picture.

I popped one of the blanks out and it measures 20mmX35mm. I was hoping to use the below link switch but I don't think it will fit as it is 21.08mm x 36.83mm.

I suspect that the only things that will really fit...and look right...will be MB supplied...and will cost more than any reasonable switch ought to cost.

That being said, could you do something with one of the blanks? Maybe drill a hole in it and mount a panel-mount toggle switch? The MB blanks seem to go for a couple of bucks, and a panel-mount toggle would be similar - you could even get an illuminated switch!

One other possibility would be to locate a salvaged part. With lots of Sprinters on the road for many years, there should be parts like this available somewhere. I poked around on a couple of online salvage parts sites, but they didn't make it easy to just look for a switch. You might have better luck at your local salvage yard...

Thanks for taking the time to do that Dave, I appreciate it. I thought about the Sprinter store one especially since they are in the Portland area, I could drive there in about 20 minutes, but I think I'm going to do just like you said and get a circular threaded one and just drill a hole in the blank.

A number of V series Contura switches like the ones referenced on the link in post #2 come up on an Ebay search. It looks like it might be a popular marine application.

I went the cheap route last night and bought a $7 switch at the local hardware store. Got the Dremel out this morning and cut a hole in the blank. I will Expoxy it in sometime this weekend.
