Forester MBS 2401 W closet solution

Now that Iíve finally retired, I spent this week to really spend quality time at home with my 2017 Forester 2401 W, and figure out how to best supplement what came with the rig to optimize my storage needs. Turns out, I do believe FR did a pretty good job with most things.

But then, ďThe ClosetĒ ... yikes!

After much research, here is what I have decided on. Just installed today, so need to take it on the road to prove concept, but after 4 years of long weekend trips, am thinking this works for us.

- Some companyís (canít remember) hanging shoe shelves

Hoping these pics attach.

One caution - don't put too much weight in the hanging shoe thing. The metal strips attached to the ceiling of the closet have been known to pull out...

I like the shoe hanger. Or rather, my wife likes that....... What we did for extra storage (there's just two of us) was buy several large plastic storage containers from Walmart and put clothes, spare sheets, towels, etc in them and then toss the containers in the storage area above the cab. That works well for us because we have no other use for that space.
