You might checkout Pentosin HP2 German oil, I use it in my shop, I buy the 20 liter container. idparts.com $5.00 shipping no tax except their state of course. Good product and they have the German filters too. Just an option.

Oil filter wrench

Where do we find the oil filter wrench for a 2016 Sunseeker 2400w . My husband purchased the oil and filter but need a source for the wrench.

Measure across the flat sides or the cap, it should be 84mm, that way I will be sure to lead to the correct one. One thing about changing the oil on those is to remove the filter before draining the oil, otherwise old oil will remain in the filter housing then run down into the oil pan you just drained when you remove the filter. I have been servicing those for years, and still do on a limited basis in my Home retirement shop.

I got mine on Amazon for about $18.

I believe this was the one I ordered. It takes longer to add the oil than to change the filter and drain the oil.

It depends on how long you let it drain, I wait about 30 minutes minimum, sometimes they fill faster if you pour it in the filter housing, they are slow filling in general though. If it is the 84mm, here’s another link from idparts.com.

No special wrench needed. A rubber strap wrench works fine on the filter. You can pick those up at Harbor Freight for a buck or two.

Using a strap wrench or other wrench that grips with uneven pressure will sometimes crack the cap, they aren’t cheap and if a fracture in the cap doesn’t show up right away it can leave you stranded, it holds the full pressure of the system. I have had some vehicles come in with distorted caps. They were 164 chassis cars which are the same.
