Hot water tank anode

Hi All,

I went to winterize my 2020 2401WS and when I went to drain hot water tank it had only a plastic screw in plug.... no anode rod. Am I missing something here? On previous MH’s I have had the anode is part of the drain plug. I did not see any other thing on the tank that looked like an anode rod.

Are you sure you don't perhaps have an Atwood/Dometic water heater, which is aluminum and doesn't use an anode rod?

Can you post a pic of your water heater?

Wmtire,

Sorry for the late response.... you were correct on that. No anode rod in this unit. Thanks.
