Jensen Sound

Mine is a 16r with a Jensen in dash. It cuts out when on radio IPOD etc. I could not find any threads with any quick fix solutions so guess off to the dealer.

Your dealer sells RVs, not sound systems. You're way better off researching, or contacting Jensen directly than waisting time at the dealer. Just sayin'

Is your navigation voice working? Had a similar issue where the radio sound would cutout when the nav voice was supposed to talk, very annoying. Resetting the radio fixed the issue see this discussion:

The audio on my in dash Jensen cuts out regardless of the audio source (iPod, Bluetooth, FM) and I've never used the navigation.

Oh I'm not happy to hear that. The little bit I've played with it, everything seemed to work. It's not really intuitive or user friendly though

Well, no. It's telling you what IT thinks the speed limit is...which I found to be incorrect maybe 20 % of the time. Very annoying.

Anyway, I did figure out how to turn that off. From the navigation screen...
Menu -> "+ More" -> Settings
-> Sound and Warnings -> Speed Warning Settings
This stuff is described in the Navigation manual, starting on page 118...well, that's where it is in my set of manuals...

No it was correct every time in my case LOL . I scared me the first time it blurted out , "The speed limit is 65 miles per hour". I thought, oh brother now it's letting me know I'm speeding !

Just an update for those that don't want to take unit to dealer as they are not supposed to be experts. I discussed cutting out with JENSEN and They said I had to take to dealer. Dealer readily accepted request for an appointment to fix, whether to replace or repair. I have since gone through GPS settings and turned off all voice and alerts and am two trips city wide with no cutting out, Just FYI. Some dealers do good things.

I just pulled out the SD card. That stopped the nav from loading and completely removed the nav system. Found that the nav was too clunky made everything else on the radio run slow. Prefer and trust my Garmin.

The SD card is behind the USB door, If I recall correctly just below where the USB plugs in.
