Marks on Beauflor flooring
We have a 2018 Sunseeker MBS 2400W. Over time, our Beauflor flooring has been showing unusual marks that are occurring randomly throughout the coach. We’ve tried cleaning with Simple Clean and water with no success. Even carefully used a Magic Erasure ( big no no I know) and it had absolutely no effect. These stains look to be imbedded in the flooring material.
Anyone have a similar experience and any success in eliminating the problem? Help greatly appreciated.

Part of the flooring design. Don't know why that was done, but that is what it is.

Its the mark in the left center of the pic ( looks like a worm. Not the original design. These marks appeared several months after delivery.

Could be something someone brought in on their shoes. I know it's not what you want to hear, but leave your shoes outside the door.

Maybe but I would think that would come off with conventional cleaning. We generally take our shoes off in the stairwell and there is no gouging of the flooring surface around the mark (like it was ground in.
Still a mystery to me.

Put a small spot of acetone or nail polish remover on a cloth and gently wipe the marks. Don't overdo it!

It’s a guess....
Something on/in the wood under the flooring that has bled through the backing on the laminate. IMO

It does look like that, like perhaps a petroleum based caulk that was left on the floor decking underlayment in spots, that is now bleeding thru. If thats the case, I think the patient is terminal !!

WD-40. It even tells you on the can that it will remove marks from flooring .

Do not use a solvent like acetone on that floor! Use mineral spirits and gently rub following the grains of the tile. It could be some residual glue that was removed from those spots at the factory. Also, simple green will react with vinyl.... do not use it and leave it, rinse with regular water. Check to see if it is still under warranty.

Ok, so in an out-of-the-way spot I tried both WD40 and acetone. Neither touched the mark.
It really looks like a stain to me, coming from underneath. These spots are in random locations and show up gradually over time.
Beauflor Care Guide says tar will cause significant staining. I know we’re not bringing that in. If tar stains the top then it stands to reason that it can also stain from the bottom and possibly show up on the top surface.

I understand the care that must be taken with that flooring. Appreciate the info on rinsing Simple Green. Tks for your tip on warranty coverage - I will definitely check that out.

Of course, you would never pour acetone or other solvents directly on the floor, but in a situation as bad as he has, a dab on a cloth to check for efficacy was warranted.

I thought so too. Based on an earlier suggestion I tried that in an out-of-the-way spot. Alas, it had no effect.
