Mystery solved

Last summer, I noticed that the A/C (heat pump) on our 2017 2400W tended to frequently cycle on, sometimes as often as every couple of minutes, especially when the temperature was close to its set point. I attributed the cycling to the small size of the cabin.

On our first trip this year, the same issue started again. This morning, while lying in bed and looking at the ceiling, I realized one of the A/C vents above the bed was pointed directly at the thermostat. Once I rotated the vent...back to normal cycling!

Sometimes it's the simplest thing.
