Radio reception problem

Riding home today DW began to complain about the reception on the Jensen radio. I told her there were a few threads on the mbs forum regarding poor radio reception. Then she clarified, " all it picks up are country stations when we get out of the cities".

I've some posts in here. The reason for poor radio reception because ground cable is connecting to fiberglass body of MH. He reconnected to body of air conditioner. I'm waiting for some nice day may be next summer to go up there.

poor reception.

If you have the owners manual check the wiring diagram for the blue wire labeled power ant. & amp(+). This wire needs to be connected to the blue wire or a switched 12 volt lead from the chassis wiring harness. The Jensen head unit has a built in booster and if it is not connected to 12 volt very little signal will reach the receiver.

My reception is bad, also. What I'm wondering is whether a non-power antenna needs to be grounded at all.
