shower curtains are factory option at no charge, maybe yo can still change it...
Plenty of benefits...easy to clean - lightweight - no rattling noises - more room inside the stall!

The shower curtain is a standard feature not an option.

Of note, I believe FR switched to the "AirFlex" airless extensions several years ago because of catastrophic tire failures as a result of the earlier (braided metal, I believe) extensions pulling the valve stems out of the wheels or tearing the (metal core rubber) valve stems. Believe this occurred when the wheel covers flew off or were knocked off. The wheel covers with the extensions tied to them would rip the valve stems when they "exited", per posts at that time.
Not sure what has changed to allow the return to braided metal extensions. I do tie my wheel covers to the wheels with wire ties, but mine is an older model MBS (2012). I use the AirFlex extensions, also tied. I have also converted to metal valve stems.

I'm a newbie, but I new not being able to check pressure on the inner rear tires was not something we could live with until I got back to my selling dealer. So I had a well-rated dealer near my first real trip install extenders that worked (metal braid). Sorry I only have that dealer's stock number, but they were $10 ea plus 0.7 hr to install on all 4 rear tires. I'm giving the old ones back to FR.

Not sure what happened to their QC, but when those AirFlexx extenders work, they work great. I know some had issues with the center post not engaging, but I wonder how much of that was the various sizes of chucks.
The issue I see with the picture above is...what happens when the wheel liner pops off? There goes your extenders with it. Airflexx did not connect to the liner nor was it pressurized so if it chafed, no worries.
I know some say "thats just the mfg cutting corners". Well, first off, no extension would have been the cheapest way as some mfg's do and cheap braided ones are about the same price. Airflexx was just something to solve those problems. Obviously it created some others...but it wasn't driven by price.

I m glad we got ours before they eliminated the glass shower door (should stay an option) It looks classy. Granted we have a 2400S that has the highest CCC of the three.
Brian, maybe you can answer the question I had before regarding brand new valve extender on a Forester: (post18) what is beneath that shiny valve extender? still a rubber valve standard from Mercedes? And the main question is can those extenders take the weight / load of TPMS sensors?

beneath is just stock Mercedes. So unless that changed that, its still rubber.
I doubt you would want the centrifugal force of TPMS on those.

PDI done all systems work, no scratches and or damage.
Started to drive home but from the initial move squeaking noises - horrible -from the cab over. Did not even leave the dealers lot, just a couple of circles in his lot and left it for them to work on...Very disappointing but not acceptable. Will be interesting how they fix that!
Anybody knows what causes those annoying squeaks and has it experienced? Its my 3rd motor home, had never any issues.

Cudos to my dealership - they worked hard and solved the squeaks - to my understanding a metal brace underneath the cab should have been rounded off; it was metal on metal causing the noise.
Finally brought her home!

Brian: Agree that it was QC on the Airflex side, not a poor solution on FR side. Dealer I was stopping at offered this solution and thought I'd give thread readers idea on cost. You just remove cap and one small nut and they come off the bracket so the wheel cover can be removed.

I think Brian was referring to
wheel covers that work loose and fly off the wheel, ripping away any extensions and sensors attached to it.
