Rec-Pro 70" Theater seating in Sunseeker MBS 2400W

We purchased the 70" Rec-Pro theater seating unit to install in our 2400W. When we ordered this unit we opted for the Sofa IPO Dinette. That sofa was just really uncomfortable. Ordered the furniture from Rec-Pro 2 days later it was delivered. Everything was well packed and arrived in great condition. We put the unit inside the RV and set it up to try it out, I'm impressed! They are really comfortable and appear to be built very well. Not mounted to the floor yet (trim work to finish up first). But I set it in place, placed it all the way to the outer edge of the slide and were able to fully recline with the slide IN. I wish I had done this after our very first trip (3 month). Hopefully in a week when it warms up I can get 'er out of the barn and finish the trim/install. I really do like the comfort added with this simple upgrade. Pictures attached show it just sitting where we're going to make it permanent.

Installation hint

We bought our 2400R with those recliners and love them but the factory installed them too close to the wall and that prevented them from reclining all the way. I had to extend the slide platform 3 inches to fix the problem. I have read of others having the same issue and the same fix. Good luck.

"Not mounted to the floor yet (trim work to finish up first)."

How did you finally mount them to the slide out floor?

Its our next upgrade!

I mounted it using 8 - 1/4 X 2 lag bolts.
You only get 1/2 plywood to secure it to so I’m already thinking of an alternative in case it loosens up. I found what’s called T Anchor that would be much better if they’ll engage vertically.

I also left the rubber seal on the front of the slide and covered it with the carpet squares I used to dress it up. I didn’t carpet behind them so it’s still a storage area for us. Also 45’d the corners on the front.

You did a good job and can still use the table if you wish.
