Sealing the Roof ... etc.

I've had my Solera for a few years now and I think it's time to look at resealing the seams and such on the roof. My plan for that (a bit of overkill, I suspect) is to use 4 inch wide EternaBond along the main seams (front and back caps, and both sides) and either EternaBond or Dicor for the various roof pentrations.

One area that has me a little worried is the seam around the front cap, coming down from the roof and then crossing just above the windshield.

I don't know whether this area needs to be resealed...or what it should be resealed with...or even how to get into position to work on the area above the windshield (heck, I don't even know how to clean that area!)

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks

Dave

An rv shop told me to scrub all dicor joints with soap and water , let dry and then cover with a new bead of dicor. I think he said 12 tubes. Apply with a caulking gun. He told me to do every 2 years.
