Signal lights not working

Iíve a 2015 Forester sprinter 2401
So my signal lights acted strangely recently. First the left rear signal light remains on at all time even my ignition is off. Then it turned off a few days later. And when I turned on the headlamps, the left rear signal light wonít lit. And all the lights on the top rear and top front wonít lit as well. Could this be a fuse problem? If so which fuse should I looked into? or could it be something has came loose?
The sprinter has only 18k miles.

Your Forester has a Recall to repair replace the Curt Controller that was used to handle the rear lighting interface. I'd call or email FR Forester service to get the info on the Recall and schedule a repair. Here are the service contacts:

Sorry, it’ll be the forester manufacturer.

Yes, it will be FR. M-B won't work on the upfitter (FR) installed wiring past the M-B interface.

Curt controller recall

I'm surprised you haven't had this problem way before now. We were 2500 miles from home when ours went wonky after a big rain storm. I contacted FR and there were no FR RV dealers in my area so they sent me the new Nelson controller. I found an RV repair place that would do the job took the part to them and by time we got back from breakfast it was done. We paid the repair place and then submitted copies of the receipt to FR and we were reimbursed. Haven't had a problem since. So if there isn't a dealer in your area this is an alternate way of getting it done. I agree it is weird when it happens makes the rig feel haunted.

Its NHTSA recall 16V465. No cost to you. CW will be paid directly by FR since they are a FR dealership. In my case there were no dealerships in proximity to my location so I had a rv repair place do the fix. FR allocates $165 for the labor cost. Mine was $126 which as I said I paid and was reimbursed for by FR. If you google Curt controller recall you will get a link that has the NHTSA recall letter and a list of all the VIN numbers effected. The replacement controller is a Nelson controller.

Forest River - Ryan Stratton-FR Declined recall

So I followed up with Ryan -FR this week to arrange my 2015 Forester MBS to be sent to Camping World Albuquerque for the recall service. Ryan is saying that the curt controller is bad and need to be replaced by the hopkins module. But he denied the recall. Is the tail light issues with Forester MBS under recall and if so is there any letter from NHTSA to back this up?

As I listed in my previous post its NHTSA recall 16V465. For all recalls go to NHTSA website and put in your VIN. All will be listed. This recall is the responsibility of Forest River so they cannot deny covering it. Have you gotten the information concerning the Mercedes Benz recall on the Blue Def emissions? Its an extensive recall you will see mentioned in the forums. It has to be repaired at a Mercedes Dealership. Then there's the rear brake sensor recall which is also a Mercedes recall. They now have the parts to replace the sensors. We still love our Sprinter! You will see these at the NHTSA website. That Curt controller issue was the weirdest thing we've experienced. Lights that won't go off. No problems since we got the Nelson controller though.

Thank you for the info and help.
I keyed in my VIN onto the NHTSA recall site and the only recall listed was the MBZ M3CC170 on speed sensor.
There is no recall for the curt controller for 2015 Forester Sprinter?

Which VIN did you put in? There's a VIN for the original MB chassis and there's a second VIN for the eventual FR motorhome...

You need to use the VIN that's below the windshield. Its the Mercedes VIN. The other one is for the motorhome build. I have a 2016 build on a 2015 chassis and it was in the recall class.

Does that VIN match the number at the bottom of the windshield outside in front of the driver?
