Received mine ($3515) finally on Feb 7 after filing April 1. Worth waiting for but the OBDII Update knocked out my Ultragauge Blue and both Myself and Ultragauge Company could not get it back. I depended on it as my 2016 was pre-steering wheel buttons. Oh well, I mainly wanted the warranty updates.

I also got a letter from MB that says scan this QR code to get a new page for your manual with the extended service schedule. Of course when I scan the QR code it doesn't give me a new page, just the web page with all the MBS manuals back to prehistoric days.

I suppose I could go hunting for which page for which manual in my spare time . . .

Have you check fuel gallons remaining after reserve light comes on?

New maintenance manual states:

Vehicles without Approved Emission Modification (AEM): Services are carried out in a series defined as A-B.

The first oil service plus (Service A) is due up to 20,000 miles.

The first maintenance service (Service B) is due up to 40,000 miles.

Vehicles with Approved Emission Modification (AEM): Services are carried out in a series defined as A-B.

The first oil service plus (Service A) is due at 20,000 miles or 2 years.

The first maintenance service (Service B) is due at 40,000 miles or 4 years.

* * * * *

The parts in red are what is different between the two categories. I did not compare yet to the "old" manual.

The online manual states "As at 03.03.2022" so this is a new version online.

I had the repairs done and submitted the paperwork in Feb. 2022 and received a payment of $3,590 in April, 2022.

A question for those who received payments in 2021: did you receive a 1099 tax form from the settlement company?

1099

Web research and a chat with my accountant strongly suggest you should expect to receive one for 2023 and the funds are taxable.

Did anyone who received payment in 2021 receive a 1099 from the settlement company?

No 1099. Don't believe it is taxable.

Thanks Mikegjax. My understanding is that some settlements, per the settlement agreement, are not taxable (but I have not read the settlement). Did anyone who received payment in 2021 receive a 1099 from the settlement company?

I'm not a lawyer, and don't play one on tv, but only punitive damages are taxable. Nice payouts guys, I'm a little jealous mine is a few years too new.

Send a message via Skype™ to Pedrodasdas
Had the new device installed last month (May 2022), send all the paperworks, waiting to see if it will be an issue cause the RV is now registerdred in Canada.

Got my $2500 payout in October 22. So far no 1099 (feb 3) of 23. 3rd owner 2016 2400R that I bought in Mar of 21. So I didn't get the full amount. Used it to add Roadmaster auxillary sway bar, sumo springs, and Bilstein shocks to help with wind and Semi passes. Handling is much better.
