TPMS Systems

Anyone have any experience with the RVI TPMS system? Want to add a system to my 2020 Isata 3. Just installed new Alcoa aluminum wheels and don’t want any balance issues from the sensors

No, we use Tire Trakr TT-500 with good results. Balance hasn’t been an issue with all the other load involved. Had to drill some small holes in the wheel covers to pop rivet the sensor holders into but it was pretty easy.

Klcamaro1,

Did you buy a tpms system?

I just recently started towing my Acadia and am looking at rvi products for tpms as well as their towed vehicle battery charger, which I am pretty set on buying as a necessity.

Riv's tpms and tablet solution looks perfect for the 10 tires I need to monitor.

Chris

I didn’t yet but plan on the RVI set up towards the spring. If you purchase before then let me know how you like it

Rvi has a Black Friday sale, started yesterday and goes through 11/29. The savings realized dont seem to appear until you're ready to checkout but for the tablet (required) and 10 sensors it's somewhere over $600.

For $10 a sensor they send you a new one after the batteries are ready to be replaced. Battery life 1.5 to 3 yrs depending on useage.

It's a $45 saving. $650 -for the tablet and 10 sensors. My motorhome is covered for the winter. Wouldn't get a chance to use it until March - April. The reviews are good

Dunarri has a system coming out that will be able to do TPMS on the coach and towed vehicle, using the sensors allready in the towed vehcile. No need to add on any replace-batteries-one-a-year sensors.

Not sure on release date yet, but its coming.
