ultra low sulfur diesel

Is it true 15 ppm printed on pump means .0015% bio fuel? It's really since new last year I have been using diesel 15 ppm ultra low sulfur diesel except last week through Oregon. Can't nothing but #2 diesel. I got .0015% from Internet conversion chart.

Thanks

15 ppm is the sulfur content of the diesel fuel. #2 on-highway diesel is ultra-low sulfur fuel.

One thing I have noticed, about diesel fuel in Oregon, is that of you go to a Shell station, be sure to check what type of fuel they are using. For some reason, all the Shell stations around the Bend / Redmond area are pumping B20 Diesel and every other station is ULSD. Just a FYI if you are traveling through the area.

Yes you are right about that in Oregon and matter of fact I've leaned to always read on the pump first. They have B20, #D2 diesel and 15 ppm ULSD.

All diesel will be ULSD , the hassle with M-B is the bio gunk that can cause big problems.

I always look for B-5 or less , and never let it stand in the fuel tank if it can be helped.

More frequent than 20,000 mile oil changes will help if forced to use this poor bio gunk as "fuel."
