W model has a lean to the passenger side.

We have had our "W"for 4 years and have traveled from Alaska to the southern border. Was looking at the back the other day and it appeared to lean to the left. Measured and it was 2" lower. Very little cargo inside and the tanks are empty. I know the large slide is on that side but Forest River must have distributed the weight evenly?? Anyone else have a lean?

Lean to passenger side...or driver side? The slide is on the driver ("street") side...

If anything, I might expect a little more weight on the passenger ("curb") side as the fridge, stove, microwave and plumbing fixtures are all on that side. You might look around to see if you can get individual wheel weights measured somewhere.

That being said, a 2 inch difference seems excessive. I'd check to see if it depends on where you're parked. If not, I'd look very closely at the springs and other suspension components and maybe to see if an inner tire is flat.

Let us know how it turns out!

My mistake. Lean is to the Driver/slide side. I measured down from the rear bumper. When I measured down from the rear corners of the camper now I got a 1 1/4" drop on the drivers side. Some of the lean could be do to bumper placement. I am going to crawl underneath and look at both leaf springs. There are Sumos on the rear.

Found a cement surface to park on. The RV is within a 1/4" left to right and bumper is leaning 1" to drivers side but not that noticeable. I now think it is how FR mounted the bumper.

My (very vague) recollection is that the bumper may have an adjustable mounting system - elongated holes for the bolts. Maybe a bolt loosened? Or maybe it's just my memory that's loosened...
